Is anyone else getting the sense that something just doesn’t add up with these latest events in the Middle East?
First, Israel carries out precision strikes, killing several high-ranking Iranian officials. Days later, as if unwilling to let Israel dominate the headlines, Trump suddenly announces he is considering bombing Iran — citing alleged nuclear bomb development. This, despite the fact that his own Director of National Intelligence had recently stated that Iran was not close to producing nuclear weapons.
Then, within a week, Trump sends three U.S. bombers into Iranian airspace, targeting nuclear energy sites — and remarkably, not a single Iranian defense missile is launched in response. No warning shots, no interception attempts, nothing. The bombers return unscathed. Trump proudly proclaims the operation a “resounding success,” claiming the U.S. has destroyed Iran’s nuclear capabilities — again, despite his own intelligence community contradicting that narrative.
Days later, Iran lobs a weak, ineffective missile strike at a U.S. base in Qatar. Trump mocks the response, calling it a failure. But here’s where the story starts to smell rotten:
If Iran already had operational nuclear weapons — as Trump’s justification for the bombing implied — why haven’t they used them? Trump essentially gave Iran a week’s notice, enough time to move or conceal any nuclear arsenal they supposedly had. And why was Iran’s retaliatory strike so weak and half-hearted?
Even more puzzling: why the deafening silence from Russia, China, and North Korea? These are nations that normally seize any opportunity to condemn U.S. military aggression, especially in the Middle East. Why haven’t they issued the usual fiery statements denouncing the bombings?
This coordinated silence is unsettling. The entire sequence of events — from Trump’s rushed escalation to the muted global response — raises serious questions about what’s really going on behind the scenes. Are we being told the whole truth? Is this another manufactured crisis for domestic political gain? We deserve answers.
